I watched Lee Gardner pitch a no-no at Theunissen Stadium. He was back and forth between AAA and the Devil Rays for a long time.

Theunissen Stadium


I loved going there in between classes. I was apparently always a baseball geek...I remember going to see Kent State when Dustin Hermanson was starting.

I was shocked to learn last summer that Kalamazoo was the birth place of the College World Series. Western used to have one of the better baseball programs back then.

Detroit starts rising on January 19, 2008.

Doesn't look fantastic.

Detroit Lions cut tight end Tony Scheffler

Never fear, Louis Delmas is still on the roster.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.

Scheffler was history the minute Joseph Faurier had the big game at Cleveland. The fact the Lions are thin at OT made it even easier to release him.

Yeah, that's not surprising at all. Even when he was on the field this season, he wasn't making a big impact.

No hard feelings though, he had a few good moments.

WMU > the Ivy League. I was perusing Dave Dombrowski's wikipedia page. Didn't realize he left Cornell for the glamour of Kalamazoo. Dude was an MLB GM at 31. Damn.
