So - Cabrera has been a tiger for four season.

In those four years he has averaged: 35, 115, .322. Not to mention that his OPS is pretty near 1.000 during this run. It is, in fact the best 4 year offensive stretch for any Tiger since 1937-40.

Hank Greenberg, during that time averaged: 43, 148, .327, with an OPS above 1.100...

F****in' draft...

If you throw in his years as a Marlin-- starting with his first "full year" of play-- and average it all out, you still get about the same numbers. This past season actually yanked the BA & R categories upward, a bit; first time he finished with more R than RBI.
He is, indeed, a machine.

However many of the actual Tops that was, their performance of the anthem was a self-indulgent smear of steaming puke.

I've heard myriad stories of cheap tickets flying around but apparently not everyone scooped them up. Plenty of empty seats out here in the top of the second.
My hand to God, she's gonna be at Carnegie Hall. But you - I'll let you have her now at the old price, OK? Which is, which is anything you wanna give me. Anything at all.

Jeez. The guy, he's like almost maybe the MVP of the series, 'n' shit. You could at least spell his goddam name correctly.

Just fuggin' witcha, Ya Mar. Ol' Gully is feeling pretty chipper.
But then, I am proud to be able to say that I have stayed chipper... mostly.

Glad I went. The crowd was pretty subdued for the first part of the game compared to the ALDS game I was at, but the Tigers were able to get them back in playoff spirits.

Darren McCarty was there too, in the #13 Avila jersey, he seemed pretty drunk

Craig, it's evident that you're no dope. How in the hell did you foresee a rout?

By using the El Dorado Atmospheric and Oceanic temperatures thermal map. I caculated the contrary direction where the polar jet stream is going and it didn't look pretty.

Upper deck, section 341, first row. It sucked sitting with the poor people. I was getting used to awesome seats behind the plate and dugouts and going to the Tiger Club. I wanted to punch everyone around me. Some stupid cunt was complaining about Cabrera getting thrown out at home on Wednesday and insisted that he should have been pulled for a pinch runner. I wanted to Josh Hamilton to throw her a ball near near the railing.

Nice. Really, that's about what would have happened if I had done the things I wanted to do to the people around me.
