I don't know if it's part of my vicious anti-golf slant, but those visors are about the dorkiest thing going these days. There are all those commercials running now for some drug, they have Phil Mickelson (sp? --I only know who he is because of the commercials) where he puts his little KMPG-emblazoned visor on, it's too much. Those things gotta go, at least off of television. You can wear them at the golf course, I sure won't see them there.

Gay adoption. Sorry, I just don't care. I've seen headlines about a lawsuit but couldn't muster the energy to click one open.

Last night a manager had the story about the lawsuit up on the computer. "Do you remember her?" Apparently, one of the litigants was an assistant here at the mine, but I think it was during the couple of years I was digging someplace else. He said she earned a mining license but we didn't hire her. That was back when we hired pretty much anything that could fog a mirror, especially if they already worked here.
