I don't believe that. When I flush the toilet, take a shower, or wash some laundry, water is drawn from the Great Lakes system. When I am finished with it, the water goes through a sewerage process to clean it and return it to the Great Lakes system. We aren't watering golf courses in Saudi Arabia here.

The young Al Gore in my home reminds me that it requires energy to treat and pump fresh water, and the it requires more energy to process sewage.

A toilet flush runs 1.2 gallons to remove your pint of pee. Letting it go in the shower removes the pint of pee along with all the other soap waste. You save the flush water. Ergo, its more environmentally responsible than a separate flush.

As I understand it the amount of energy to treat waste water depends on how much waste is in the water.

Peeing in the shower is like an urban legend. No one actually does it, it's just fun to act like you do.

Am I the only one who knows this ?

Rick Majerus and Jay Bilas were doing a broadcast from the Maui Classic and Bilas apparently wore the swishiest Hawaiian shirt on the island. A sportswriter nearby overheard:

Majerus: "What the fuck kind of shirt is that?"

Bilas: "The only one I could find."

Majerus: "Any man that wears a shirt like that probably gets out of the shower to take a piss."

And the only thing more fun than whizzing in the shower is whizzing off a balcony.
My hand to God, she's gonna be at Carnegie Hall. But you - I'll let you have her now at the old price, OK? Which is, which is anything you wanna give me. Anything at all.

I get the feeling his buddies opened the curtain mid-pee and someone snapped a picture. Judging by that burn he's got worse things to think about. What the hell happened?

"Why couldn't you just wait?"
"I was there. I saw a drain."
"Since when is a drain a toilet?"
"It's all pipes. What's the difference?"
By using the El Dorado Atmospheric and Oceanic temperatures thermal map. I caculated the contrary direction where the polar jet stream is going and it didn't look pretty.

lady cup actually took a pee in the shower with me once, though she was courteous enough to give me fair warning and was downstream of me. i now feel completely validated in doing so myself, though i think we both still see it as a plan b, if things don't get taken care of ahead of shower time.

It is a fundamental right, if not an obligation, to pee wherever and when ever the need arises. The one exception would be while driving. it is not advised to hang one's member in the wind while driving.

The two rules in peeing willy-nilly is that (1) it must be against something. A pole, a building, the gas tank of a sworn frenemy ... and (2) you must not have to deal with the odorous effects; hence, said random place can't be in the corner of your bedroom or dining room.

Exceptions do occur, for example, sending a load of furniture to your soon-to-be ex-wife. In that exception some planning is involved: to wit, the buying and eating of asparagus by the bushel will lend your essence a certain piquant quality. Wash the asparagus down with a gallon or two of dark stout beer. This combo will get one in the required, fuck-it, mindset to liberally douse your soon-to-be former couch cushions with an urgent telling of your true feelings.
