Exactly. Mix three parts NYC B-Boy with one part Brit and two parts Hillbilly and you get a Detroit Beastie Boy. I'm not sure of the exact ratios but I think they are close to that.
Clearly if I had the needs and funding I would surely invest here and become the change Detroit needs.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.

That photo stream brought a little tear to my eye. Especially the picture with The Wiz playing at the Masonic. And the blue building at Grand River and Griswold.
