My ire isn't so much that someone is mourning the loss of a church but that they are blaming it on suburbanites and the building of the new arena. I wouldn't be at all surprised that it's arson, but I really don't think the Ilitch's would pay someone to burn it down for insurance money considering they don't even own it.

A squatter sounds more likely. And if they're in a burning mood, they should get to work on the Brewster Towers. God knows they could bring those down faster than the crews working on them now.
