Note the scrap metal peeled off just below the plywood.

The mansion in Brush Park (on Edmund) that Restore America supported has some nice new plywood. I guess the 450K per condo asking price was a little much. Too steep for a buyer...but just right for a scrapper.

Lower left.

Who out there thinks there needs to be roll-downs on the windows before there's more plywood?

Looks like Bookies was broken into overnight - expecting plywood later this morning.

The Penobscot and the E&Y Building both had some sweet plywood on the Griswold side as of Wednesday.

Report: Four Detroit bars, including Cheli's, targeted by burglar

DETROIT -- An overnight burglar targeted four downtown bars, including one owned by Detroit Red Wing Chris Chelios.

The thief broke into Cheli's Chili Bar & Restaurant near Comerica Park and made off with cash after vandalizing a jukebox, ATM and the inside of the popular bar, its manager told WWJ-AM (950).

Police believe the same person also hit Bookies on Washington Boulevard and tried to get into two other downtown spots, according to WWJ.

Detroit police officials were not available for comment this morning.

This place is rising like a raging boner.
Clearly if I had the needs and funding I would surely invest here and become the change Detroit needs.

I think the windows and plywood manufacturers are working together. Detroiters are always getting screwed.

That's the same window at Bookies that got busted a couple of months ago. Wonder what they stole this time.
My hand to God, she's gonna be at Carnegie Hall. But you - I'll let you have her now at the old price, OK? Which is, which is anything you wanna give me. Anything at all.

C'mon. Nothing was stolen. It's just some kooky vandals that are angry at the world.
