Short video shot while on the ride. I want to say it was along Vernor or W. Grand Blvd.
Where the hell am I going? And what the hell am I doing in this handbasket?

Another video shot by someone else. It's long (10 mins) and took a bit to load, but it shows a lot of the riders as they're riding in a few different spots. Lots of happy faces says a lot of people had a great time. Kudos to gravitymachine and the rest of the organizers for putting on a great event!!

OK...I'll stop with the Tour de Troit stuff

I saw a guy making this display a week or two ago.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.

I'll come by for a while and pass out complimentary "goddamits" to the passing cyclers.

Always glad to help out.

Yup. I ooze Good Cheer. It's What I Do.

Oh wait. Is "Good Cheer" supposed to smell like freshly-laid tar & asphalt?

I'm thinking it smells more like a freshly-laid cheerleader.

Tour de Troit 2006. I'm working on a building downtown and the riders started whizzing by. A few of us working inside the building came outside to laugh at the white people doing things white people like. One of the bicyclist yells, "grab a bike, see the city." Our response, "pick up a hammer, actually do something."
