I swear to God my sister used to live in the upper flat on the right. That's not Lakepointe near Kerchival, is it?

Just some renovations I'm sure, it'll be done in two weeks.

Near Charlevoix. There's a group of GP South grad hipsters who rent it out now.

It's been a long time, but it sure looks like her house. I used to ride my bike down there from 7 and Kelly when I was about 13-14 yrs old.

I dare you to ride your bike down there from 7 mile and Kelly now...about as likely as Andy walking outside of the safety zone

These days, I'd be safer at the Lakepointe end of things than the 7 and Kelly part.

Wow. I'm really curious to hear the story on this one. Did it have a fire? Did the bank decide that it was cheaper to demolish it and take a loss instead of trying to sell it? Did it have black mold? Asbestos? Severe lead paint problems? That just seems odd that they would demolish that house.

I didn't notice a "W/cut" in blue spray paint nor a "Gas Dead Fred" in yellow spray paint last time I was by. Maybe someone fouled up the address. That would be funny and sadly not the first time.

One picture shows the gas meter removed....

They need to get a hose on that dust pile.....

Looks like a good house. The tub in any condition fetchs $100 on craigslist. Up to $500 if it is a bit of fancier/longer design. Same for that vintage sink.

Maybe some "Detroiters" tried to buy it.....

Please tell me they're not going to build another vacant condo development on the site if they do knock four more down. I think two or three units at the one on Lakepointe between Jefferson and St. Paul still haven't been purchased.
My hand to God, she's gonna be at Carnegie Hall. But you - I'll let you have her now at the old price, OK? Which is, which is anything you wanna give me. Anything at all.

I just noticed the old style shower with the curtain on the ring. Too cool.
