That's because Homrich is notorious for under pricing and over promising on delivery and then squeezing massive change orders out of public contracts. Did it with the Statler. Probably doing it with the Brewster Project.

In this modern age, do they still use wrecking balls for demolitions? Seems like this would be the place to swing one around if they did.
Hmmmm....maybe I should be a large map of metro Detroit for on my wall, so I better know the relationship of my city and the suburbs. - Supersport

I don't think they're gonna get this done in a month. I'm gonna see it from a different angle by then.

Andy, your pix are remarkable in that the framing is consistent week-to-week, month-to-month. My question is do you have locked camera positions or is it just a fantastic memory for spatial uniformity?

Or are you looking at the old pics when you're taking the new ones?

Thanks. Nothing special, just holding it. Although I'm very conscious of the framing when I take these pics.

What's the hold up? Does it have something to do with that big piece on top?

Looks like they're picking up the pace. The third one is about halfway demolished and they're already chipping into a second one.

Only one has yet to have any scars on it.
My hand to God, she's gonna be at Carnegie Hall. But you - I'll let you have her now at the old price, OK? Which is, which is anything you wanna give me. Anything at all.
