So, Fyfe and I had this conversation a few weeks ago, but what are those furry brown animals that always end up as roadkill here in Michigan?

They're definitely not racoons and they don't have tails.

I saw one (alive) last night in my gym parking lot.

Definitely not possums, the face isn't as pointy and they don't have rat tails.

Clearly if I had the needs and funding I would surely invest here and become the change Detroit needs.
