You need George Jackson's home phone, seeing as the DDA still owns the lot.

You should pull into the lot in your car and when they ask for money tell them to fuck off, it's not their lot. Encourage them to call the cops on you. Just don't leave your car unattended.

All manner of new (old) parking scams since the Masonic has beefed up its programming. Central District says to call 911, which is ridiculous. Being the dutiful Detroit masochist, I've called once or twice when some junkie has harassed me on to pay him to park on the street. The last time I got into an argument with the 911 operator who claimed they must be legit because they had orange vests and flags. She hung up when I asked her if the sun revolved around the earth, or the earth around the sun.

She probably didn't know.

So what you are all saying is that DPD's effort to crack down on crime by pushing parking off the streets and into secure lots has done nothing but create more opportunities for criminal activity?
