Victory Hop Wallop was a hit this week. Affordable and tasty. Even better than the much loved Hop-Devil.

Sierra Nevada Summerfest-Good but a bit on the light side with a really flat finish. I'd drink it again however.

Jolly Pumpkin Bam Bier - They call it a "farmhouse ale" whatever that is. Unfiltered and cloudy with a interesting spicy hop flavor. It's tops with me right now. Brewed in Dexter. Get loaded to help the Michigan economy.

Picked up a case of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale 2006 on the cheap last week. I was worried it was going to be sucky because of the possible improper storage since the holidays. Rest assured it is as brilliant as ever. It's Christmas in June.

Agreed. The Colorado contingent seems to worship Fat Tire; I find it bland and flavorless.

A very flavorful and fun summer beer has been the Pyramid Apricot Weizen. Very unique - and great in the sun with a BBQ.

Have yet to find any Bell's anywhere, but have heard rumors of a store in LA that has it...

I've had that, and it was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly, because I usually don't like that fruity shit.

My wife likes that one.

I do enjoy a fat tire when I am out that way. Definately a good beer. It might help that I dig bikes too.

On the Pyramid thought....

Try the Dogfish Aprihop. It's an appricot hinting IPA. Pricey but tasty. It's all the refreshing summer breeze bs without tasting like Trident Fruit Flavored gum.
