They are building a plywood fort outside of the Broderick right now...looks like the Shitstop won't be fired up for Opening Day.

Why would you say that? Plywood is very flammable.

Because of too much coffee and Golden Tee after my Saturday night shift:

Sort of a combination of the HF Plywood thread and The View From... thread.

The Plywood View From Chalmers Between I-94 and Mack, which I clocked at a little more than a mile.

And to finish the trip off, a few birds were hanging out a few streets over.

26 houses and one business boarded up within a mile on one street. I believe at least 2 were inhabited.

Why do you hate Detroit? Typical GPer, looking down your nose on The City, Mackinaw is the only GPer that really understands The City.

Move the porch to the left and tweak a few other details (e.g. lose the landscape blocks, make the window on the right bigger...) and this could the home that I grew up in on the west side. Eerie.

Technically speaking, that's OSB, not plywood (back me up on this, Norm).

Agave has received the plywood treatment. That's all. No pics. Just a statement.
Clearly if I had the needs and funding I would surely invest here and become the change Detroit needs.

This project financed by Shore Bank.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it,' and what's 'it' seems weird and scary.
